Infopeople Workshops

Scholarship Information:

"Sharpen your professional skills by taking courses through the California State Library's Infopeople Project! Infopeople training is open to all members of the California library community - academic, public, school, and special."

Heartland is continuing its Infopeople scholarship program into fiscal year 2007/2008. There are currently three scholarships available to each Heartland member library. These scholarships can be used to cover the cost of attending an Infopeople workshop, including online workshops. There is currently no deadline for using these scholarships.

How to use your scholarship:

Register for the workshop at the Infopeople website as you would do if Heartland was not involved. Please pay special attention to:

• Library/Organization Name: put the name of the Heartland member organization that you work for. Use the name as it appears in the Heartland Directory.
• Billing Address: fill out the required boxes using your library's information. You will not be billed (provided that you follow these directions). In the Attention box, enter "HEARTLAND deposit account".
